Nikon Stuff [ Nikon Gear that matters ]

I will stick with my initial report on the next set of Nikon lenses (done before the D3s announcement):
Nikon AF-S 24mm f/1.4 lens: I expect this lens to be announced during the first quarter of 2010. Did not receive a lot of communication on that lens.

I posted that on PhotoRumors already, but since many Nikon fans are expecting an updated 35mm f/1.4 lens from Nikon, here is a Zeiss rumor for you (you will still get only manual focus with a Zeiss lenses, which you can also get with the Nikon 35mm f/1.4 AI-S lens):

A dpreview comment indicates that the new Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II lens already started to show up in stores (in that case in WA state). Also confirmed: Nikon D300 is listed as “discontinued” in B&H.
