Nikon Stuff [ Nikon Gear that matters ]

I have covered the Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens light leak few times in the past (see blog and forum posts) and it seems that Nikon is responding to this issue, at least in Korea. The Nikon Imaging website got a face lift. I cannot find anything interesting to report except the fact that there is a new Nikon lenses catalog (pdf format).
At the point I think it is safe to assume that there will be no new product announcement this month (June). July 4th is an official holiday in the US, which makes the [...] Related posts:

Take a look at this picture on flickr (full size). It looks like a DX f/2.8 lens and it is different than the existing 17-55 f/2.8 DX lens. Any guesses? See full discussion on flickr.
