Just another lens in the “to be discontinued section” – this time is the Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor ED 18-135mm F3.5-5.6G (IF): This lens was introduced back in August, 2006.

I have received several tips from stores, Nikon reps, Nikon authorized service centers, etc about the Nikon D700x. Those tips are coming from different parts of the world and the interesting thing is that they all point to a Nikon D700x release in the Fall of 2009:

A german photo store is currently having a contest where the second price is (translation from the pdf document): Nikon DSLR D-X00 (D300 replacement) The end date for this contest is October 22nd, 2009.
